Melanie Gow is The Corporate Story’s eMarketing and Social Media specialist. A professional networker and cultural events organizer, she builds awareness for a wide range of clients. These range from adventurers and Hollywood celebrities through rock bands to authors, artists and writers.
Melanie’s first book, Toasters Don’t Roast Chickens, was republished twice in two months and enjoyed national coverage after she launched it on Facebook. She built a Twitter following of 5,000 in three months for the first man to walk the Amazon River from source to sea. She currently works with a Hollywood film star, managing his Twitter following, and manages seven other accounts for creatives and businesses. She also maintains 14 Facebook Pages for local businesses.

Melanie specialises in publishing sector-specific online magazines as powerful marketing platforms. In addition, she founded and built a 16,000-plus readership for brand awareness title Beat Magazine, edits Beyond Limits Magazine and founded and edits Social Whirl. She teaches blogging and Social Media and is a 'Top Mentioned' name on Twitter. She organises cultural events, such as Kiss Me Goodbye for the 2011 Windsor Festival, and The Quotes Unplugged gig. Mel also founded and organises the 14/4 Literary Dinner and The Royal Berkshire Poetry Competition.
